We need your help! The Wild Bird Trust raises funds from individual donors, charitable foundations, corporations, private organizations, civic clubs, and other groups with an interest in conserving birds in the wild. You can either make a donation specifically for a project, or alternatively make a donation for use across any of the projects.

We have partnered with PayFast to facilitate payments from South African bank accounts and local as well as international credit cards. When making a donation the only information you will be asked for is an e-mail address and password (very simple registration, no drawn out registration process) and your payment method details.

How your donations help?
Your donations do help and we pride ourselves in ensuring that close to 100% of donated monies actually reach the project as our administrative costs are low! Please do consider making a donation, we are able to issue section 18A tax exemption receipts to South African citizens for donations in excess of R500. We will contact you once you have made a donation to ask whether you would like this receipt.
If you live in the US we can arrange for tax exempt grant based donations via the World Parrot Trust – these donations are dedicated to the Cape Parrot Project.
