About
Our Work

Namibia, nestled on the South Western edge of the African continent, plays a leading role in the trajectory of the Okavango Basin's intricate river system. The Delta’s primary tributary, the Kavango (in Namibia) or Cubango (in Angola) river, flows along the Namibian border with Angola and is shared by both countries.

The implementation of a sustainable water monitoring system, in harmony with the changing nature of this flood channel, is crucial for the effective, ongoing management of this life source, both for the local communities that straddle its rivers edge, and creating a healthy, ecological balance between man and the environment.
